Collect 4.3 mL urine in a sterile container

Use ONLY the cobas PCR Urine Sample Kit (32064796) to collect and stabilize urine specimens.

Urine specimens must be transferred into the cobas PCR Media tube immediately. If specimens cannot be transferred immediately, store at 2-30°C for up to 24 hours. If urine volume is less than 4.3 mL, urine may be diluted manually with cobas PCR media at a 1:1 ratio (at least 0.5mL urine to 0.5mL PCR Media)
