Swab Collection: Open the eSwab package. Without touching the swab tip, carefully insert it into the patient’s throat. Swab the tonsillar areas and the posterior pharynx. Avoid touching the tongue, cheeks, or teeth with the swab to prevent contamination.

Swab Handling: Gently withdraw the swab without touching any surfaces.

Sample Preservation: Immediately place the swab into the transport tube provided with the eSwab kit. Ensure the cap is tightly closed.
