Before collection
Clean the genital area with the provided antiseptic wipes.
For females, separate the labia and wipe from front to back.
For males, wipe the penis tip or around the urethra.
During collection
Start urinating into the toilet for a few seconds to flush out bacteria.
Continue urinating into the toilet and then move the container into the stream to catch the “”mid-stream”” sample.
Do not touch the inside of the cup or lid.
Fill the container halfway to two-thirds full.
Finish urinating into the toilet.
Securely replace the lid on the container without touching the inside rim.
